If you remove ballast and wire direct is there a benifit such as energy consumption? Also if wired through ballast and ballast fails will the light still work or will you have to wire direct at that time ?
Yes, there is a saving on energy consumption if you remove the ballast. If the ballast fails during use, the light will not work until you direct wire it.
This product says compatible with MOST ballasts, so will it simply NOT turn on if it doesn't work with our type of ballasts or will it blow the bulb?
it wont damage the bulb , it will either come on kind of dim or wont come at all
