About Swimming Pool Lighting

Are you considering lighting options to light up your swimming pool? There are some common questions that you should ask yourself. There are a lot of options out there to light up the swimming pool, but LEDs are the best of all, here are the reasons which make these lights a dear choice for swimming pool lighting

Why LEDs are the best choice for swimming pool lighting

Longer Life: Most of the LED bulbs are supposed to last up to 50,000 hours or more which means that these lights will last for a minimum of 5.7 years.

Brighter: LED lights have a great reflector design and lens geometry which helps them offer better wide angles, and also increases the intensity and color effects that look so good in the swimming pool.

Colorful: Most LED lights come in a wide range of colors and designs which gives you a rich variety to choose from.

Efficient: LEDs consume 10% of the power consumed by the incandescent lights, and they offer more lumens if compared on average.

Why LED Strip Lights?

LED strip lights are the safest and most desirable bet you could make for swimming pool lightings. Swimming pool lighting is more of an aesthetic need than a real utility.

LED strip lights are IP68 rated but still, they are protected by a layer of polycarbonate material. Before LED strip light is installed in the swimming pool, the pool is emptied. Afterward, a layer of strip light or any other LED lighting is installed. These LEDs are at least IP68 rated and are waterproof.

This polycarbonate layer is to insulate LED lights so that no current leakage happens. Once this layering is done,

Outdoor-RGB-led-strip-lights comes with 10mm PCB, the product can be installed with a 3M adhesive tape. The product contains 60 LEDs per meter with an input voltage of 12VDC. These lights come with an IP68 rating.

There is a reason why 12 volt LED lights are used. 12 volt LEDs are considered only for the short-run. Swimming is obviously not a really long activity.

Pool Lights And Security
