Whether it’s 2ft, 4ft or 8ft LED tube, one of the jaw-dropping features of LED tubes is that they don’t flicker unlike what you would have definitely observed in case of fluorescent tubes. The LED tubes start instantly and once they start, they don’t flicker and produce a humming sound.
The LED tubes that are either clear or frosted have an IP22 rating. This rating signifies that our LED tubes are protected against dust-tight (objects in the dust that are of size more than 1mm) and protected against water-ingress from all directions. For such reasons, LED tubes are safe for use in areas where there is moisture and water. E.g. Bathrooms, kitchens etc.
The LED tubes accepts an input voltage of 100V-277V. You can go for a waterproof transformer in case you don’t have this voltage and wish to convert this voltage range to some other.
The LED tubes will require low or no maintenance if you are going for a ballast bypass option of LED tube installation. Though not very frequent, but you may have to replace the ballasts once in the total lifetime of LED tubes, if you are going for ballast compatibility option and hence you will have to bear with slightly higher maintenance costs when choosing the former option.
The lifespan of LED tubes is no less than 50,000 hours or 5.7 years, if the tubes are operated upon for 24 hours a day. Can last longer, if the tubes are kept ON for only 12 hours a day.
The CRI being greater than 80 for LED tubes, whatever object comes in the light distribution range appears to be real and natural up to 80% extent on a CRI scale of 1-100 and as it would have appeared in the natural light.
The 120 degree or ultra wide beam angle is made use of when large areas need to be covered. All our LED tubes whether clear or frosted have a 120 degree beam angle.

It was pretty easy to bypass the old ballasts and replace the bulbs with the leds. They did what they promised and it’s easy to adjust the color and wattage

I purchased 4 bulbs as a test to see how I liked them. They are fantastic super white light and much brighter lumes than regular 6500K fluorescent. You can see in the picture of my other 4 tube lights how dull they are (they are a few years old). I took out the ballasts. I will be buying many more for the rest of my garage
We love these so much we have been gradually changing over all our original bulbs to LEDs. Makes rooms brighter and bulbs don't go out as fast as original bulbs. I also love the fact that we don't have to have a ballast.

Prompt shipping. Bulbs were easy to install. I bypassed the ballast. Super bright. I only needed to use 2 Bulbs in my 4 Bulb fluorescent fixtures and they are much brighter.
The replacement bulbs worked out great! Better lighting at a reduced operating cost.
Two of these in one fixture set at max watts and 5000K looks pretty damn bright, and a lot like real daylight. Works perfectly in my 25 year old fixture that has a ballast that isn't lighting up regular bulbs correctly anymore.

These tubes are what i was looking for 6500k is about as cool white as you can get, i wished they came in higher lumens, but this is the only site i can find that has the t8 tube lights that is ballast compatible

These are the same bulb retrofitted at work. My space is smaller and ceilings lower. Work has 4 bulb fixtures, I have 2 bulb. I was hoping brightness would be equal or better than my 8 foot flourescent. I will be adding another set of 2 bulb fixtures to acquire the same light. Still happy with LED power savings. Also, can't wait til temperature is below freezing to assess LED in cold temperatures. Thanx!
