Whether it’s 2ft, 4ft or 8ft LED tube, one of the jaw-dropping features of LED tubes is that they don’t flicker unlike what you would have definitely observed in case of fluorescent tubes. The LED tubes start instantly and once they start, they don’t flicker and produce a humming sound.
The LED tubes that are either clear or frosted have an IP22 rating. This rating signifies that our LED tubes are protected against dust-tight (objects in the dust that are of size more than 1mm) and protected against water-ingress from all directions. Retrofitting the 8 ft. LED Tubes is way easier than messing with double 4 ft. tubes with adapters. I like lots of light in my garage workshop. The 4000K LED tubes are much brighter than the "Cool White" fluorescent tubes they replaced. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Shipping was very fast. Clear instructions on how to wire lights. Easy to install. Where once was 2-75, or 2-90 watt florescent tubes now are 2-40 watt LED tubes in each fixture. Lights are much brighter than I expected,(see pictures). I had to go back and use 1-40 watt tube in each fixture. I used 1-40 watt 8 ft 4000 lumens single pin 4000K frosted and the brightness is equal to 2-75 watt florescent tubes. LED tubes came packaged individually in cardboard tubes in a case of 16, and since I am only 8 tubes the other 8 can be stored safely till I need them in about 5 years.

These LED’s should satisfy any user. Each tube is wrapped in plastic and then, an outer covering. The colors, (kelvin) and brightness will brighten any room or area!
I purchased 10 lamps, including two spares. Of the eight I installed, four had color temperature and power level switches that were difficult to move. On one of the lamps, the power level switch would not move at all. Fortunately, it was on the setting I wanted. Other than the switch issues, I'm very happy with the light output. They're a huge improvement over the 110 W T12 HO lamps previously installed.
They are bright and were easy to remove the ballast and install the tube. It's only been a week so I hope the tubes last long and don't cause problems later.

So much brighter with half of the power! I replaced 12 fluorescent bulbs and bypassed the ballast resistors that were loud and failing, especially in the cold, with these LED tubes that are silent with no flicker. I didn't realize how annoying the old bulbs were, until I changed. The clips supplied are needed since the 8 foot long LED tube is not quite stiff enough to support it's own weight without sagging a little, but the clips are not quite tall enough so there is an ever so slight curve, but is minor to the overall look. The price is so reasonable now that the LED tubes will pay for themselves in about a year since the power consumption is half. I also bought other great products, like 2 light bar fixtures, that are wonderful.

I tried to order LED replacement tubes for my eight foot florescent fixtures from Amazon and it was a mess. The fixtures did not come and my money was returned. I tried Home Depot And my favorite local hardware store and got nowhere. So I went to the internet and ordered them from MyLEDplace. They were promptly delivered at no cost and they worked great. My installer screwed up two and MyLEDplace actually took the situation into consideration. I ordered online, later I called for more and talked to a helpful human. And each tube was a dollar less than any other price for a comparable light tube.

I replaced a bunch of 8' fluorescent tubes in my basement with these - now they're all the same color, (and a much nicer color at that) brighter, I've resuscitated fixtures in which the ballasts had gone bad by bypassing them, and theoretically I'll start saving money on my electric bill! (It's too early to tell - just made the swap last week.) The process of bypassing the ballasts was simple enough, and I did 8 fixtures in a few hours. I'm very happy I did this.
