The installation of this dimmable LED downlight takes place in easy steps with first switching off the power supply and then taking out the existing downlight from the fixture. Next, you must twist the adapter in the socket and then insert the connector into the socket. Insert the dimmable LED downlight trip.
Make sure, you have a compatible dimmer installed for our dimmable LED downlight to dim appropriately. For details, you must read the instruction booklet. If not able to self-install, you must consult an electrician.
No Dark Spot
Nowhere you will find any dark spot when using this dimmable LED downlight in its full non-dimming mode. The light distribution is uniform and even with a light spread at a wider beam angle.
CRI >90
The Color Rendering Index is a measurement of the light source to display the color of objects accurately, realistically and naturally. With reference light as daylight or natural light, CRI is measured on a scale of 0-100. LED lighting products usually have a CRI of 70 or above 70 with different indexes useful to different applications. Got exactly what I ordered and the lights fit and work perfectly. I ordered 3x as many as I need because my house seems to eat LED drop lights. 3 out less that 4 years after full reno install. No way any of them have been subjected to the lifetime or daily use warranty claims. I doubt the lights I replaced were on an hour a day over the past 3+ years. Hopefully these last longer than they "90+" cheap, contractor lights installed during the home reno.

I love the lights, if you are installing this style of light in your house i would recommend not using the 4000k, i would recommend using either 3000k or 2700k only because the 4k light is not a warm color for laying around in the house, you would probably want to use the 4000k or 5000k for more of a work light or office lighting, just my opinion.

I REPLACED 6 STANDARD CAN LIGHT BULBS WITH THESE FIXTURES IN THE KITCHEN. THE NEW FIXTURES WERE EASY TO INSTALL AFTER I FIGURED OUT WHICH SET OF CLIPS TO USE IN THE CAN. THE SPRING CLIPS ON THE FIXTURE WORKED BEST WITH FOLD-OUT TABS IN THE CANS RATHER THAN THE VERTICLE SLOTS THAT SEEMED TO BE THE NATURAL ATTACHING POINTS. THE SLOTS WERE TOO FAR UP IN THE CAN TO ALLOW EASY CLIP ATTACHMENT WHILE THE TABS WERE MUCH LOWER TOWARD THE OPEN END OF THE CAN. I"M SURE THERE ARE SEVERAL VARIATIONS OF CAN DESIGNS SO YOU MAY HAVE TO EXPERIMENT A BIT.
I BOUGHT THE DAYLIGHT SPECTRUM AND WITH THE 15 WATT OUTPUT IT'S VERY BRIGHT. THERE IS ONE SPECTRUM BELOW THIS AND IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN EASIER TO GET USED TO. ANYWAY, THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR COOKING MISTAKES NOW. THE LIGHTS WORK VERY WELL AND I'M GLAD I MADE THE SWITCH FROM THE LOWER OUTPUT, WARM WHITE BULBS.

These LED lights with trims are truly universal. Some of the retrofit lights on the market require that the cans in the ceiling have four hooks inside the cans where you mount some springs.
The customer's existing cans were a model that didn't have those hooks. These lights have three spring arms that are adjustable for 5" or 6" cans. You screw in the adapter screw base and press in the trims. They are easily removed as the spring clamps are hinged. Just rotate the trim 1/4 turn to the left. Expand the spring arms again to re-fit the lights. Awesome.

I am a custom home builder and when we build wide open homes with high kitchen ceilings we are having a hard time finding LED lights for the kitchens. Because of the high ceilings we need a wide angle and usually use a 90 watt halogen. Would this work in our current canned fixtures?

How many come in a case?
The biggest pack we have is for 12 lights.
Does the glass have a matte finish or a glossy finish? We did renovations 5 years ago and one has died and we are having a hard time finding the replacement with a white matte finish. I think this is it but want to be sure before I order.
The lens is made up of Plastic, however, the light body is Metal with White Matte Finish.

I added eight of these down lights in the soffit to replace two 100W high-pressure sodium fixtures. The old fixtures were harsh, and the light was concentrated just around the lights. Also, there were big savings on wattage.
The light says it is 5000K and puts out 900 lumens. It seems to have more of a 4000K light color and is similar to an 60 w incondenscent light. However, it does appear to be well made and the installation was easy. I would order one again, now that I know exactly what it does. I would purchase a higher lumen output light similar to this that has a 6000K color rating.
I needed clean, bright light in my salon, and these lights are perfect! They are super bright without the harsh glare that fluorescent lights give. They are super easy to install as well.

The ground wire rivet location and the plastic grommet for the wire harness hit the 4” flush mount ceiling junction box. If moved the fixture would be easier to mount. Other than that the lights worked great.
We had a tricky situation with very shallow J-boxes due to their position below a cantilevered ledge. This fixture has no protrusions on its underside and came to the rescue! Although the J-boxes were weird, the pre-drilled holes in the fixture and the mounting screws in the boxes lined up perfectly. The only problem was stuffing the wires in to the shallow box, but the included smaller wire nuts saved the day. The installation was easy and it turned out well.
These LED lights are bright and their output and frames match other lights in the area. The spouse was pleased and now the only problem is getting more!

Put 6 of the 10w in my 12x12 kitchen. Great lighting! Stuck them to the ceiling with double sided foam tape. Works excellent even without an existing light can.
