The installation of this dimmable LED downlight takes place in easy steps with first switching off the power supply and then taking out the existing downlight from the fixture. Next, you must twist the adapter in the socket and then insert the connector into the socket. Insert the dimmable LED downlight trip. Make sure, you have a compatible dimmer installed for our dimmable LED downlight to dim appropriately. For details, you must read the instruction booklet. If not able to self-install, you must consult an electrician.

The Color Rendering Index is a measurement of the light source to display the color of objects accurately, realistically and naturally. We had a tricky situation with very shallow J-boxes due to their position below a cantilevered ledge. This fixture has no protrusions on its underside and came to the rescue! Although the J-boxes were weird, the pre-drilled holes in the fixture and the mounting screws in the boxes lined up perfectly. The only problem was stuffing the wires in to the shallow box, but the included smaller wire nuts saved the day. The installation was easy and it turned out well.
These LED lights are bright and their output and frames match other lights in the area. The spouse was pleased and now the only problem is getting more!
Is it possible to install into ITL INTERTEK 5000999 led down light?
I am sorry, we are not sure about the ITL INTERTEK certification. But if you have 4 inch hole you can put these lights on.
Can this be installed into a junction box
All other 3 styles that we offer can be, but these are meant for new construction and without a junction box.

The review on this item indicated that a customer installed in celling on top of a j-box however in the G&A section you say "for new construction and without a junction box" . Does the kit have a bracket or something that can be screwed to attach to j-box and then fixture attaches to the bracket. Just how are they attached?
Yes, downlight can be install with or without juction box. It comes with a metal plate to attach the fixture.

I added eight of these down lights in the soffit to replace two 100W high-pressure sodium fixtures. The old fixtures were harsh, and the light was concentrated just around the lights. Also, there were big savings on wattage.
The light says it is 5000K and puts out 900 lumens. It seems to have more of a 4000K light color and is similar to an 60 w incondenscent light. However, it does appear to be well made and the installation was easy. I would order one again, now that I know exactly what it does. I would purchase a higher lumen output light similar to this that has a 6000K color rating.
I needed clean, bright light in my salon, and these lights are perfect! They are super bright without the harsh glare that fluorescent lights give. They are super easy to install as well.
We had a old hanging light in our kitchen. we were looking to update the lighting . Looked in other stores but lights I wanted were expensive. Looked on your site no way we couldn’t say no. Good quality and good price . This is my second purchase I will be back.

The ground wire rivet location and the plastic grommet for the wire harness hit the 4” flush mount ceiling junction box. If moved the fixture would be easier to mount. Other than that the lights worked great.

Doing a renovation of our lower floor and needed some LED lights for the new den. Bought these 4" LED's and out them in. They all worked out of the box. The brightness and light quality is as advertised. This was a great purchase!

Put 6 of the 10w in my 12x12 kitchen. Great lighting! Stuck them to the ceiling with double sided foam tape. Works excellent even without an existing light can.
