This LED tube requires you to either remove the ballast or bypass it. We have prepared a step-by-step guide to help you bypass the ballast to successfully install your LED tube.
Flicker Free
Whether it’s 2ft, 4ft or 8ft LED tube, one of the jaw-dropping features of LED tubes is that they don’t flicker unlike what you would have definitely observed in case of fluorescent tubes. The LED tubes start instantly and once they start, they don’t flicker and produce a humming sound.
IP22 Rated
The LED tubes that are either clear or frosted have an IP22 rating. This rating signifies that our LED tubes are protected against dust-tight (objects in the dust that are of size more than 1mm) and protected against water-ingress from all directions. For such reasons, LED tubes are safe for use in areas where there is moisture and water. E.g. Bathrooms, kitchens etc.
Voltage Input
The LED tubes accept an input voltage of 100V-277V. You can go for a waterproof transformer in case you don’t have this voltage and wish to convert this voltage range to some other.
Low Maintenance Cost
The LED tubes will require low or no maintenance if you are going for a ballast bypass option of LED tube installation. Though not very frequent, but you may have to replace the ballasts once in the total lifetime of LED tubes, if you are going for ballast compatibility option and hence you will have to bear with slightly higher maintenance costs when choosing the former option.

Ordered 12 lights, they arrived in a timely manner. Lights were not damaged and packed very well in heavy cardboard tubes with plenty of padding, no broken lights. Rewiring the fixtures and install was easy. Lights are bright and provide excellent lighting far better than old florescent s. My Conversion is only about 1/3 complete, satisfied with the product and will be ordering 24 more lights to complete the project. Looking forward to the energy savings.

Put six 8ft tubes in three existing fixtures in my two stall garage. If I open both doors during a sunny day, then close and turn on the lights, the garage in more luminous. So I would have to say, "The LED tubes are brighter than sunlight."

There is no comparison between the LED tubes and traditional fluorescent bulbs. The LED tubes put out bright white light, and the old fluorescent bulbs put out a dull yellow haze.

Very easy to wire around the ballast. Lights produce a nice bright light. Because the lights are focused downward unlike the fluorescent lights I turned them slightly outward and it really helped.

I"m a volunteer at the Smithgall Humane Society in Sautee, Ga. We're upgrading the lighting in the kennels to LEDs. After a lot of online shopping, I found LEDMyPlace. They're price was below any other vendor. I ordered one tube to make sure the quality was high. After installing the first tube, we bought 10 more. Tried out 2 of these and installed today. Installation was easy. Picture doesnt show it well but the closest fixture is the LED tubes, probably twice as bright as the others and no humming. Will definitely be swapping out all the others as the ballasts die and I run out of bulbs. Packaginging was awesome. Only thing I found out was there are little clips to hang in the centers for extra support. They were stuck in the "caps" on the end of the individual shipping tubes and didnt see them until I was done and cleaning up...and the clips didn't come with any self tapping screws, which I didnt have. Improvise and overcome. Also, although sorta obvious, i could see someone with little electrical knowledge and attempting this screwing up with the supplied directions. Directions should say pick an "end" not pick a "side". Side could lead one think one of the bulb sides. I had to reread a few times as that's the first thing i thought, knowing it couldn.t be correct. Overall, great product.

I bought two 8 foot lamps just to see if they were what I needed. They arrived with in 3 days in a very strong shipping tube. They worked great. So I ordered 8 more to finish my project of replacing the entire group of 10 8 foot fluorescent lights that made noise and needed frequent replacing. I easily converted those to work with the new LED lamps. One lamp of the new shipment only half light. I contacted the company and they said they would ship a replacement at their cost immediately. They did not ask for proof ! No questions! would highly recommend this company. I paid half for the same lamps as my friend who convinced me to do the upgrade. I now need sunglasses in my shop!

Shunted sockets means there is only 1 hole, port for a wire to go through, which you will for sure have if you have traditional LEDs, wired with Hot on one end, Neutral on the other. I've attached a picture below if you click the text; https://ibb.co/jh3pf31
Will these bulbs work outside in a sign?
Yes! As long as the ballast in the fixture is removed, and these are wired as double-ended power with a single-pin compatible tombstone.

I have 14 light fixtures 8 foot long and I’ve only rewired 8 fixtures and only used one LED bulb in each fixture and I have way more light than when I had 2 fluorescent bulbs in the light fixtures. I’ll be buying another set of 10 bulbs for the remaining fixtures and keep a couple on hand for spares.
First fixture in this room just to show the difference for the next two. I have purchased 60 of the 96T8 5000k frosted lamps and very please with the retrofit of the 1953 fixtures.
I ordered 10 8ft led lights. The shipment arrived on time and very well packaged. I was able to bypass the ballast easily and had all 10 lights working in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend this product. Now I just need to see how long they last. The light is cleaner and brighter than my old HO florescent bulbs.
Many of the 8ft. flourescent lights in my garage were starting to die. Not just the bulbs but the ballasts too. So I figured it was time to switch over to LEDs. The flourescent bulbs were all 100 watt high output bulbs. I replaced them with these 48W LEDs. After bypassing the ballasts and installing the center supports I fired them up and was very pleased. The light output is roughly equal to the flourescent bulbs that were in there before and the whiter light is good for working in the garage. I prefer a warm white light in the house so was worried that this 5000K light would be too much. But for a garage I think I like it. Great product, they seem well built and the 8 bulbs I have installed so far work great.
Very easy to install (less than 30min per fixture including ballast bypass wiring), looks nice and greater light output than HO 110W fluorescent tubes and <50% energy consumption. Hoping all I purchased work this well and last as long as advertised.
The 8 foot LED conversion is a major upgrade to the lighting in our shop. Reasonably priced considering the shipping is included. These things are packaged like king tut. The box was a little rough, but the quality packing inside resulted in no damage.

The 8’ led lights are very bright and easy to rewire fixtures for them. Sure wish I’d found these before I took 8 fixtures down inside my shop and replaced them with 4’ , 6 bulb fixtures. Would have saved a lot of time and would have saved a bunch of money.

Being a retired coal miner, I'm use to working in the dark. But, now when I'm working, I want light, and lots of it!! My garage has 6, double 8 foot florescent fixtures in it. They we good 6 years ago when I build the garage but over the years I've changed tubes, ballasts and got use to the buzzing and flickering. Also seemed to be getting dimmer over the years. I put a couple 4 foot LED shop lights in my gun room above my reloading bench and work bench and love them. That's what gave me the idea to upgrade the garage lights. Did a lot of research and had a lot of questions. Your site was very helpful and after a call to AJ, all my questions were answered and he made sure I ordered the correct tubes. My order arrived quickly, very well packaged and instructions provided. The day before they arrived, I had bypassed and removed the ballasts and replaced the covers and cleaned the lights. I told you I was use to working in the dark!! Next morning installed the new tubes and flipped the light switch and actually laughed out loud! The difference is like night and day, pun intended!! It’s very simple you cut the wires off the ballast remove the ballast, bring all the wires together on one side of the fixture connect them to your neutral or white wire on the other side collect all the wires and connect them to your black wire. Plug and play after that
There is 12 double tube 8 ft. fixtures in my shop. Over the years I've gone through several bulbs and had to replace some ballasts. After another ballast gave out it was either keep replacing or go L.E.D.. I replaced all 24 bulbs, will never have to replace a ballast again, and spent less than it would have cost me to replace those by themselves.
Instant on, no noise from the fixtures and absolutely incredible light. These not only have doubled the amount of light in my shop but have also already saved me $30.00 on my last months electric bill.

Light exceeded my expectation. It was a replacement for an other brand, that had some inoperative LEDs. The light output is much better than the previous one had when it was new.
I will be purchasing more of these in the future.
I only put these in one of 26 fixtures to try them. My fixtures are 14 ' 6" off the floor and wanted to see if the light would go that far. The only problem I had is these LED tubes are 5/16" longer than the HO fluorescent tubes I removed. I had to make adjustments to the fixture and barely got them in. I plan to convert the remainder of one row ( 6 more fixtures ) to be sure they make enough light.
These lights light up our factory so well. its like having windows on all sides. they are easy to install. i would recommend these to and factory or warehouse wanting better light.
